Privacy Policy

Data Controller

Noetik Governance Ltd., 71–75 Shelton Street, London WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom · info@noetik.uk

General Principle

This website does not collect personal data from visitors who are merely browsing it. No cookies are set and no cross-site tracking is performed. We use GoatCounter, a privacy-friendly analytics tool self-hosted on our own server: it sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and shares no data with third parties — only aggregate, non-identifying usage data (page, referrer, browser, approximate country) is recorded, so no consent banner is required.

Server Log Files

The hosting provider (Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany) automatically collects technical access data in server log files: IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and access timestamp. This data is used solely for operational security and is deleted after a maximum of 7 days. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest).

Fonts

This website uses Google Fonts (Inter and JetBrains Mono) loaded from fonts.googleapis.com. When a page loads, your browser establishes a connection to Google's servers, transmitting your IP address. This is necessary for font rendering. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in consistent visual presentation). Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.

Purchases & Billing

Paid subscriptions are sold and billed directly by Noetik Governance Ltd. as seller. For order, payment, invoicing and tax data we act as controller and hold this data to fulfil the order, meet our legal accounting and tax obligations, and provide and manage your licence. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) (legal obligation).

Licence & Account Data

To issue and manage a licence we hold limited business-contact records: an organisation name, a contact email address, and a licence/installation identifier. Purpose: issuing the licence, checking its validity, and providing support. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the licence agreement) and Art. 6(1)(f) (legitimate interest in protecting the licence). These records are kept for the duration of the licence relationship and any period required by law.

Website Assistant (AI Chat)

This site offers an optional “PREEXEC Assistant” chat; you do not need to use it to use the site. If you choose to send a message, your message is transmitted to our server and forwarded to our AI provider, Anthropic PBC (United States), which generates the reply. We do not store the conversation. Please do not enter personal or confidential information into the chat. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries).

Recipients & Processors

We rely on a small number of service providers: our hosting provider Hetzner Online GmbH (Germany) for the website server; self-hosted GoatCounter analytics running on our own server (no third party involved); and Anthropic PBC (United States), which processes messages you send to the website assistant. Google Fonts are loaded from Google as described above. We do not sell or rent personal data, and we do not share it beyond these providers except where required by law.

International Transfers

Loading Google Fonts establishes a connection to Google's servers, which may be located outside the UK/EEA; only your IP address is transmitted, for font rendering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). If you use the website assistant, your message is transmitted to Anthropic PBC in the United States to generate the reply, under its applicable transfer safeguards. We do not transfer personal data internationally other than as described here.

Retention

Server log files are deleted after a maximum of 7 days. Licence and account data are kept for the duration of the licence relationship and any period required by law thereafter. We hold no other personal data about website visitors.

Your Rights

Under GDPR and UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and port your personal data. To exercise these rights in relation to the limited licence and order data described above, or for any enquiry relating to a business relationship, contact info@noetik.uk.

Supervisory Authority

You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The supervisory authority for Noetik Governance Ltd. is the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), United Kingdom: ico.org.uk.
